Amy Logan Holmes The Bruce Childs Volunteer Awards are provided to OTA member clubs to help them recognize volunteers who have made a significant contribution to tennis at the club level. In 2015 the following clubs recognized the listed people with these awards. OTA BRUCE CHILDS COMMUNITY CLUB VOLUNTEER AWARDS #GETONTHECOURT CLUB AWARDS THUNDER BAY COMMUNITY TENNIS CENTRE The Thunder Bay Community T.C. is recognised for its repertoire of creative social events such as the 24 Hour Fun Fest, Grand Slam Breakfast and their many community outreach programs which all contribute to a thriving club environment. LEASIDE TENNIS CLUB Leaside T.C. is recognised for its charitable initiatives which include awarding annual junior scholarships and organizing an annual tournament in support of the Doug Philpott Children's Charity. BARRIE COMMUNITY TENNIS CLUB The Barrie Community T.C. is recognised for its Scheduled Play Program which provides organized mens' and ladies' doubles and mixed doubles. The program aims to treat all members equally and furthers their tennis development at any level.
